Our Beginning

William and Eileen Blaney

In 1941, William J. Blaney established Blaney Funeral Home. The original funeral home was established at 141 N. Chestnut Street. In 1948, he married Eileen Early and together they made a commitment to area families to serve people with dignity and fairness. This same commitment was instilled in their children to carry on the family legacy of serving the families of this great community. Many things have changed since 1941, but the Blaney family's commitment to our community has not.

KEN MIKE and MARY-JO

For over 80 years, the good people of Green Bay have been placing their confidence and trust in Blaney Funeral Home. That confidence is taken very seriously because trust is something which must be earned. That is why it was so important upon their retirement in 2017 that Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home would come on board to continue their legacy. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home is a family owned funeral home, whose family has also operated Funeral Homes for over 80 years and has the same heart and commitment as the Blaney family.
