Sandra Lee "Sandy" Schilawski, 75, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was born on July 28, 1945, in Abrams to Harold Miller and Katherine Neveu.
Sandy graduated from Oconto High School, Class of 1963. On October 19, 1972, she married Dominic Schilawski. Sandy worked at Schreiber Foods for over 20 years.
She joined the African Violet Show where she had over 1,000 award winning violets. Sandy then began her own business, Fiber Arts' and Quilt 4 U. She loved bowling, playing pickle ball, spending time at the YMCA, and golfing in a league. Sandy also was an avid watcher of tennis.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dominic; daughters, Wendy (Ron) Challis, Maggi (Grover) Nelson; son, Casey (Shelley) Schilawski; son-in-law, Dan Jefrey; grandchildren, Zac (Nicole) Challis, Derek (Christine) Jefrey, Casi Jefrey (fiancé, Mark Berna), Allyson Gerczak, Natalie Gerczak (special friend, Reid), Cody Schilawski, Alex Schilawski; five great-grandchildren; her mother, Katherine Neveu; brother, Richard; three sisters, Mary Lou, Ruth Ann, Patricia; and a brother-in-law, David.
Sandy was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Jefrey; father, Harold Miller; sister, Betsy Deweese; as well as nine brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
Family and friends may gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6. The Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. With concerns for the coronavirus, masks are required and must be worn properly completely covering the nose and mouth; and social distancing be respected. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com, or cards may be sent to Blaney Funeral Home to the attention of Sandy Schilawski's family and they will be forwarded.
