Sally Laws Gallagher, 80,  lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, October 21 at St. Vincent's Hospital.  She was born Jan. 29, 1941, the daughter of Joe and Geraldine Laws. She received her education in the local schools graduating from East High in 1959.

Sally was employed as a bookkeeper for several Green Bay businesses and for many years was General Manager of Fort Howard Cemetery.  She married Thomas "Tom" Gallagher on May 23, 1970.

Survivors include her husband; daughter Bridget (Jamie) Brien of Green Bay; stepson Todd Gallagher of Orange County, Calif;  brother Jim (Mary Lou) Laws, Chandler, AZ; sisters Marge Hummel, Anamosa, LA and Judi Mares, Prescott Valley, AZ;  a step-grandson and granddaughter in Chicago and nieces and nephews of two generations in several states.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter-in-law Ilene Gallagher;  step-daughter Kim Gallagher West; two brothers-in-law, Richard Hummel and George Mares and many in-laws.

Sally greatly enjoyed relaxing at her cottage, playing cribbage and rooting for the Packers (her dad was Packer great Joe Laws who played 1934-1945).

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for distribution later to interests Sally supported.
