Roger L. Zeutzius, 81, Green Bay area, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, with family by his side. He was born on January 12, 1940, at home in Green Bay to Raymond Sr. and Isabelle (Brienen) Zeutzius.

Roger attended Washington Junior High and Green Bay East High School. He entered into the work force as soon as he could, starting at Western Union delivering telegrams and working at the horse stables at Oneida Golf & Riding. He then worked for Sorgel Electric in Milwaukee where he made transformers; finally settling in with Atlas Cold Storage warehouse until his retirement in 1996.

On November 18, 1961, Roger married Shirley Barker in Waukegan, IL. They celebrated a beautiful 55-year marriage before she passed on February 21, 2017.

Roger enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, and playing cards – especially Canasta and Rummy 500 with Austin (Unity volunteer) and family. He loved listening to Johnny Cash, having seen him in person twice. He met Marty Robbins and saw Jerry Lee Lewis at the Riverside Ballroom after sneaking in. His love of music continued throughout his whole life. He would walk around New Perspective with Johnny Cash playing on his phone.

Roger kept a great sense of humor up to his last day. He loved any time he could spend with his children and was extremely proud of his grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his five children and their spouses, Sheri and Chris Anderson, Jodie Schindler, Bonnie Mashl, Daryl and Jessica Zeutzius, Dawn Natzke-Pouwels and her husband, Nick Pouwels; grandchildren, Jeremy (Christina) Zeutzius-Anderson, Jessie (Matt) Shoukry, Phillip Anderson, Jamie (Kevin) McMullen, Ryan (Hope) Schindler, Keisha Bradford-Leicht, Zachary Zeutzius, Brett Natzke, Jacob (Jamie) Natzke, Breanna Natzke, Brittany Natzke, and Sophia Pouwels; great-grandchildren, Miah, Hank, Baby on the way, Bruce, Miles, Theo, Ellie, DéAngelo Jr. "DJ", TeraNyah, Davis, Leeyah; his sister, Darlene Morrow; brother, Richard Zeutzius; and "Uncle" Jerry Morrow.

He was preceded in death by two sons, James and Marty; grandson, Matthew Schindler; his parents; and his siblings, Joan, Raymond Jr. (Ardie), Robert, and Ronald.

Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, December 10, followed by the Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. The family would prefer that all in attendance be masked. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .

The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of New Perspective, and Unity Hospice – especially his team, Tara, Dani, Lori, Kim, and Pastor Steve; also their sincere gratitude  to Mike for his admission skills and for being extra supportive on Roger's last day.
