Pauline P. Heim, 91, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was born to the late Frank Paul and Irene Kerscher on March 1, 1926, in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

Pauline graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School. She later attended Prospect Hall Secretarial School in Milwaukee, WI. While in Milwaukee she met Ron Heim, whom she married on October 23, 1951.

After living in several locations in Wisconsin they eventually settled in Green Bay. Pauline worked for the architectural firm of Berners, Schober & Kilp for 13 years. She and her husband then started an industrial coating company, Trowelon, Inc. where she worked until 1995.

In retirement, Pauline and Ron enjoyed their summer home in Woodruff, WI. There they could be found fishing, gardening, and enjoying nature. They also traveled extensively, primarily in their Airstream RV so that their dogs could accompany them. Pauline was an animal lover and had many dogs throughout the years. She was a contributor to the NEW Zoo and sponsored the moose in the Adopt an Animal program. She enjoyed stamp collecting, and playing cards and board games. Staying in her own home also kept her busy and active.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Moore, Boise, ID; sister-in-law, Lillian Paul; 16 nieces and nephews, Patsy Moore, Paula Phillips, Pam Nielsen, Peggy Bodnar, Michael Moore, Dan Paul, Mark Paul, Tom Paul, Mary Meehl, Lori Paul, Donna Paul, Diane Bley, Cathy Garber, Joe Paul, Larry Paul, and Janet Paul Bayliff; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1992.

Visitation for Pauline will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9 th St., Green Bay from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Nicolet Memorial Gardens, in Bay Settlement. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Pauline's name to benefit the Humane Society.

Pauline's family would like to thank her neighbor, Arlene Koivisto, and her caregiver, Shelley Deuchert, who ensured she could remain living independently in her home. Also, a special thank you is extended to the staff of Unity Hospice and the nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate care of Pauline during her final days.
