Paul J. Dillhunt, 55, Seymour, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 11, 1952, in De Pere to Lawrence and Leola (DeBroux) Dillhunt.

Paul attended East De Pere High School, in addition to NWTC and UW-Green Bay. Paul held several jobs, but his favorite was as a computer programmer for Matousek and Associates of Green Bay. Paul often said that Terry Matousek was the best boss anyone could hope for.

Paul spent many hours teaching others about computers. He loved art, music, and cooking. Paul excelled at the guitar. He was a composer and wrote many beautiful songs.

Paul loved his son, Josh, who shared his passion for books, gaming and computers.

Paul married his best friend and the love of his life, Mary Ryan, on October 18, 1997. They had a very happy marriage. They were meant to be together and were soul-mates. Mary will miss his forever.

Paul is survived by his wife Mary; his son Joshua, De Pere; his stepson Matthew (Peggy) Ullmer, Howard; his stepdaughters, Rachel Ullmer, Green Bay; Anne Marie (Brian) Virtues, Little Suamico; his grandchildren; Trey, John, Gabriella Ullmer; Caleb Steffel, Jeffrey Virtues; his beloved mother, Leola, of De Pere; his sisters, brothers, and their partners, Maria Dillhunt and Linda Schrevens, Kathy and Jim Kennard, Cliff Dillhunt, and Kathy Koegel, Tom and Lynette Dillhunt, Paul's twin Donna Dillhunt, Jack Dillhunt, Colleen Reinke, Dorothy and Roger Burt, Theresa and Pat Vande Walle, Pat and Lisa Dillhunt in addition to many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; his brothers, David (Grunt) and Michael (Fat Mike).

Friends may call at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams Street, on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Ken DeGroot, O. Praem., officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Paul was a grateful member of Narcotics Anonymous and thanks them for the last 17 years of his life.
