Norbert "Norb" A. Holewinski, 78, Pulaski, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born on December 27, 1942, in Green Bay to Antone and Elsie (Miller) Holewinski.
Norb graduated with the Class of 1962 from Pulaski High School at which time he joined the U.S. Army. Upon returning from the Army, he was hired by Procter and Gamble. Norb married Sandra Veldhuizen in June of 1964, they started a family, and have been married for 57 years.
Fishing, hunting, woodworking and carpentry is what Norb enjoyed. He was proud to have helped build his home in Pulaski. Norb and Sandy planned together where they wanted to build the perfect home for his children to grow up in. His skills allowed him to always make something out of nothing.
Norb had a knack for precision. While not raised on a farm, he worked on a few farms and found a love for tractors which led him to collecting 1/16 models of tractors. Norb could tell you anything and everything about John Deere tractors and other brands. He enjoyed painting details on them, displaying them and collecting them.
From 1998 to 2004, Norb and Sandy enjoyed RV trips, especially to Arizona, Texas and California during the winter season. He was a quiet man who could have a lot of adventure.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sandy; their children, Brad (Joy Bryson) Holewinski, Tim (Teri) Holewinski, Rebecca (Vincent) Kelly; grandchildren, Krystal (Adam) Murphy, David (Ashley) Holewinski, Carisa (Nicolas) Johnson, Cassie Holewinski, Montana Holewinski, Darius Holewinski, Kayla Kelly, Angelica Kelly, Gianna Kelly, Ian Kelly; great-grandchildren, Lily and Lexii Mech, Kelsey, C.T. and Cameron Holewinski, Wyatt Holewinski, Mckinley Johnson, Olly Johnson, Cash Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shawn Holewinski; great-grandchild, Kuper Holewinski; his brothers, Jack, Don and Jim; and his sister, Mary.
