Mary A. Stordeur, 81, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was born to Joseph and Dorothy (Burchard) Ronski on April 2, 1939.

On July 7, 1956, she married Larry Stordeur at St. Agnes Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2014. Together they raised a family of 10 children while they owned and operated Stordeur Excavating and Stordeur Sanitation. Her commitment to the businesses kept her working well into her 70's. She was also a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Parish.

Mary enjoyed helping her family, dining out, and attending family events, as well as ones for her grandchildren! She was a very good cook and enjoyed time outdoors, whether it was working in the yard or just sitting on the deck taking in the sunshine on her face. She had a love of animals, and always had a soft spot for dogs. Mary enjoyed traveling and while it was a bit tougher the last few years, she took the chance to get out and go whenever she could. Even if it was just to the casino to play the slots, or sit around a bonfire with friends and family!

Mary is survived by her children, Cindy DeGroot, Don (Joan) Stordeur, Bob Stordeur, Jerry Stordeur, Dale (Wendy) Stordeur, Wayne Stordeur, Ken Stordeur and Amy DeValk, Scott (Jill) Stordeur, Missy (Marc) Jansen, and Rob (Leann) Stordeur; her grandchildren, Jamie, Julie, Denise, Kim, Matt, Mark, Jessica, Brett, Chase, Nicole, Victoria, Joey, Alex, Timmy, Brandon, Katie, Everett, Chandler, and Carson; 11 great-grandchildren; and 7 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 23; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 4 p.m. with Rev. James Lucas officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. All in attendance are required to wear masks properly, completely covering the nose and mouth and respect social distancing. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com, or cards may be sent to Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, WI 54303, to the attention of Mary Stordeur's family and they will be forwarded.

A special thank you to the staff at Odd Fellows Rebekah Home for their care of Mary the past few months.
