Mark Edward Poirier, 60, Suamico, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born October 3, 1961, in Green Bay to Robert and Helen (Helker) Poirier.

Mark graduated from West High School, Class of '80. Mark met Karen (Martens) while working at Sureway in Green Bay. The two were married shortly thereafter on January 16, 1981 and their first child, Michael was born on January 27, 1981. He worked for various papermills over the years, but his main passion was his family. Marks love for travel brought him and his family to many destinations over the years. Mark enjoyed the outdoors. Biking, hiking, or running, it didn't matter as long as he was spending time with family. He loved anything he could do with his kids and eventually grandkids.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; children, Amanda (Ben) Burmeister, Matthew (Courtney) Poirier; grandchildren, Timothy, Adam, Reagan, Bailey, Andrew; mother, Helen; siblings, Robert (Lynn) William (Sarah) , Peggy (Ron), Mary; brother-in-law, Steve Gaffney; sisters-in-law, Kathy Wosnig and Kim Martens.

Mark was preceded in death by his son, Michael; father, Robert; parents-in-law, Ron and Patsy Martens; sister, Patricia "Patty" Gaffney; brother-in-law, Kevin Martens.
