Eugenia Marie "Jean" Bertrand, 88, Green Bay, died peacefully Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born on August 16, 1929, in Green Bay to Arthur and Violet (Martelle) Rollin. After Art's passing, Violet married John Bethe who became like a father to Jean.

On May 13, 1961, Jean married Emmet Bertrand. They were founding members at Nativity of Our Lord Parish. She was a Flight Nurse in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a nurse most of her life in the Green Bay Hospitals. Jean volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul for 20 years. She had a quick wit, loved to travel, and loved her family.

Jean is survived by her husband, Emmet Bertrand; two sons, Dave and Kim Bertrand, Bill and Chellee Bertrand; six grandchildren, Mitchell (Brittany Wirtz), Carlene, Lauren, Hayley, Noah, Seth; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicole Bertrand; her parents; her brothers, Jim Rollin, Wayne Rollin; stepfather, John Bethe; a stepbrother, John Bethe; and stepsister, Ruth Woelz.

Friends may call at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 26, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev.
