Elaine B. Pamperin, 94, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Elaine was born October 24, 1923, in the Town of Howard to Grover C. and Elizabeth "Beth" (MacAllister) Pamperin. She was baptized in the McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church. Elaine graduated with the Class of 1942 from West High School and then attended Vocational School (now known as NWTC) in the accounting program. She was a dedicated bookkeeper for the Frank O. Zeise Construction Company for 32 years and was a former member of the Green Bay/De Pere Business Professional Women's Association. Elaine finished her working career as a Financial and Membership Secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church.
As a long-standing member of Union Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Elaine was an active member of the Erognites group, taught Sunday School and volunteered in the church library. She also spent countless hours as a volunteer at Bethesda Thrift Shop.
Elaine is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Schubert, Cincinnati, OH; 11 nieces and nephews: Carol (Vic) DiPilla, Joanne Schubert, Barb (Don) Nolte, all of Cincinnati; Nancy (Bill Spreen) Schubert, Chapel Hill, NC; David (Susan) Pamperin, Paul Pamperin, Steven Pamperin, all of Green Bay; Peter (Barbara) Pamperin, Manitowoc; John (Connie) Pamperin, Olathe, KS; Anne (Randy) Renel, Oconto Falls; Clare (Ben) Villarruel, De Pere; 17 great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron, Abby, Will, Sam, Ben, Lauren, Aaron, Taylor Rose, Alex, Jack, Kathryn, Hilary, Hannah, Hattie, Harmonie, Carmen, and Olivia; three great-grand nephews, and one great-grand niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Beth Pamperin; brothers, Tom (Ida) and Donald (Ruth) Pamperin, and brother-in-law Dr. William Schubert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Union Congregational Church, 716 S. Madison St., Green Bay, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service with Pastor Bridget Flad-Daniels officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. Elaine and her family would like to thank her first cousin, Pershing E. MacAllister, for his constant kindness and support, the staff of Woodside Assisted Living who have provided exceptional care, and to Compassus Hospice for their support during her final days.
