William "Bill" Walter Simon, 90, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025. He was born December 8, 1934, in Iron Mountain, MI to Parnell and Dorothy (Kuntze) Simon.

Bill attended the University Wisconsin - Oshkosh and graduated with his bachelor's degree in business. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharge in 1961. On December 27, 1958 he married Mary L. McGuire. Bill worked for many years with pharmaceutical companies until he and Mary decided to run their own business. Together they purchased Kings Canvas, specializing in custom boat covers. Bill and Mary had a shared passion for tennis. He coached many young tennis players through Southwest High School, Preble High School, and various summer camps. Bill looked forward to spending a couple of months during the winter in Golf Shores with Mary visiting many friends.

He is survived by his children Sue (Lee) Podoski, Mark (Mari) Simon, Gary (Laura) Simon; six grandchildren, Eric (Brittney), Kalynn (Sean), Jamie, Jenna (Matthew), Will, Katherine; ten great-grandchildren, Beckett, Tia and Taytum, Blake, Ryley, Dylan, Ella, Madison, Benny, Charlie; niece, Carolyn Simon; in-laws and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; granddaughter, Olivia; parents, Parnell and Dorothy; brother, Parnell Jr. (Jean) Simon; nephew, Bill Simon.

Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday, October 21; Funeral Service to follow at 6pm. Burial will be in Mill Center Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Bill's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Care Patrol for working so diligently to help Bill find the perfect place and to the staff of Unity Hospice and Tender Hearts who provided such wonderful care. Your dedication helped him feel safe and comfortable.
