William M. "Bill" Pieczynski, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1948 to the late Edward and Louise (Halkoski) Pieczynski in Stevens Point, WI.

Bill graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School, Stevens Point, WI. He married Jane, the love of his life, October 18, 1970. They enjoyed a life full of fun adventures. He loved camping and cruising the Caribbean islands. Bill was a talented woodworker who also donated his time and skills to his church and always found time to make gifts for friends and family. He was always up for a coffee and a good chat. Bill did not know the definition of retirement, always finding something to tinker with like his antique cars.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In July 2019 he was fortunate enough to be chosen to participate on the Old Glory Honor Flight, Mission 51 - Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight which recognizes war veterans and is a way to say "thank you" for their service and sacrifice to this great country.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Ali Smith, South Florida and Kathy Stafford, NC; grandchildren, Philip, Christopher, and Megan; great grandson, Brayden; sister, Pat (Hank) Frasch, WI; brother, Kenneth (Lisa) Pieczynski, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane (Hahs) and parents, Edward and Louise (Halkoski) Pieczynski.

Bill's ashes will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Jane, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Muskego, WI. Time and date will be announced at later time. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

The family would like to thank Bill for his service to this country he loved so dearly. We would also like to express our appreciation to the team at Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice in Green Bay, WI for all of their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Bill to the Wounded Warrior Project or Old Glory Honor Flight - Appleton, WI.
