William "Bill" Leo Keegan, age 88, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family in Green Bay, WI on November 3, 2018.

William was born to Leo and Isabel Keegan on April 1, 1930 in Richland Center, WI. He graduated from Richland Center High School and in 1953 graduated from Marquette University. William was active in the US Army Reserves from 1950-1956 and served on active duty in Germany at the time of the Korean War. William married Kathleen Lucey, on June 25, 1956. William's career focus was to work side by side supporting local Wisconsin Dairyland farmers, providing products from Harvestore, Vigortone, and Purina. A lifelong hunting and fishing enthusiast, William was also devoted to keeping all the birds in his neighborhood nourished by his many feeders.

William was an active and dedicated member of the St. Agnes Parish, the Knights of Columbus, the Shamrock Club, and the VFW.

William is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathleen (Lucey) Keegan, his children Leo Keegan of Oakland, CA, Mary Pat (Mike) Peters of Theresa, WI, Maureen (Dave) Cunningham of Hampton, VA, Gregory (Claudia) Keegan of Berlin, Germany, and Thomas (Susan) Keegan of Chicago, IL, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition , William is survived by son-in-law Lynn Boes of Tucson, AZ, brother-in-law Robert Dyer (Verona) of Phoenix, AZ, sister-in- law Nancy Keegan (Robert) of Richland Center, WI, and brother-in-law Rev. Gregory Lucey SJ of Mobile, AL.

William is preceded in death by his two brothers Robert Keegan and Richard Keegan, (Mary Jane) his precious daughter Ellen (Keegan) Boes, Rev. Roger Lucey SJ, son-in-law Frank Wallace (Maureen), Bernard "Herb" and Eleanor (Lucey) Watson, Sr. Eleanor Lucey OP, Verona (Lucey) Dyer, and Governor Patrick Lucey (Jean).

Evening Vigil will be Wednesday, November 7, 7:00 pm . at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, 1484 9 th Street, Green Bay. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, and Thursday from 9:30 am until the funeral Mass at 11:30am. Rev. Gregory Lucey SJ will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate William's life.
