Wayne Ronald Pagel, 88, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born on November 28, 1936 to the late Lester and Viola (Reis) Pagel in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He lived in Green Bay until the age of 9, when the family moved to Popple River, Wisconsin to open Pagel's Bar. He met the love of his life, Geraldine "Gerry" M. Halada at Laona High School and married her on July 29, 1957. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2025 after celebrating 67 years of marriage. They resided in Green Bay where they raised their family of three daughters.

Wayne built his career within the dairy industry. As a child, his parents owned Pagel's Jersey Dairy Farm. As an adult, he worked as a delivery milk man for Birdseye Dairy and field tester for Associated Milk Producers (AMPI).

Throughout his life, he enjoyed the great outdoors at cottages on Long Lake and Shawano Lake, where he loved watching his children and grandchildren sail, waterski and jet ski. Later in life, Wayne's interests turned to 4-wheeling and providing long, leisurely pontoon boat rides for family and friends.

Wayne and Gerry loved driving across the country and returned often to some of their favorite places (Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone). For the past 20 years, they were regular snowbirds to Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Wayne was a stroke survivor and a two-time survivor of throat cancer, which left him with significantly reduced airways. Even with these hardships, he pushed through and showed his strength.

Wayne is survived by his children, Kim (Todd) Timmerman, Terri (Michael) Richardson and Lynn Pagel; grandchildren Nicholas (Nikki) Timmerman, Christopher (Sara) Timmerman, Patrick (Caitlin) Timmerman, Tara Richardson and Ryan (Cytarah) Richardson; great-grandchildren, Nick Timmerman Jr., Vincent Timmerman, Ryder Timmerman, Bella Crooks, Rylan Crooks, Jack Timmerman, Beckett Timmerman, Aden Richardson, Aliza Richardson, Ahmad Richardson, Tahlia Richardson and Emerson Richardson. He is further survived by his sister, Sandy (Jerry) Klukow; sisters-in-law, Shirley Pagel, Nancy Pagel, JoAnn "Gracie" (Dan) Hannigan, Linda Halada, Cyndi Halada; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geraldine; his parents; brothers, Robert and Gary Pagel; parents-in-law, Jack and Grace (LaBine) Halada; brothers-in-law, Larry Halada, John Halada; sisters-in-law, Marlene Carmitchell and Jacqueline Halada.
