Victor Joseph "Joe" Chizek, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 29, 2026. Joe was born on May 7, 1953, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Joe was the biggest Green Bay Packer fan, which was showcased in his "Packer Room". In the summer you could find Joe sitting in his garage drinking a Budweiser. He enjoyed watching football, westerns, and the news. Joe spent the first half of his career installing flooring. He later went on to work for Hearthside Foods in Green Bay, where he retired in 2024.

Joe is survived by his children: Cory Chizek, Green Bay; Jourdan (Rick) Buechler, Wrightstown; grandchildren, Ethan (Mariah) Oettinger, Ali Chizek, Kayla Chizek, Kendra Oettinger, Sophia Buechler; great-grandchildren: Joseph, Aubree, Scarlet and Ariana; siblings: Dorothy Deiter, Nevada; Pam, Goulder, Nevada; Terri Bell, Green Bay; Debbie (Jessie) Nutt, Green Bay; Angie Stodola, Green Bay; Joan (Randy) DeGrave, Green Bay; Lori Chizek, Green Bay; Sue (Tony) Marconie, Green Bay; Lisa DuBois (Renny), Canada; Cindy Chizek (Becky), Nevada; Uncle: Eugene (Nancy); Aunt Joan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Virginia Chizek; maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Linda Cook; grandson, Jaxxon Chizek-Tozzi; aunts, Ellen Matheys and Pat Ankeney; brothers-in-law, Jim Stodola, Ken Bell, and Morris Seguin.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Joanie "Bones" for taking such good care of our Joey. He was beyond blessed to have you as a sister, best friend, and neighbor. We are forever grateful for you.
