Vanessa L. Saldana, 53, Green Bay, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012. She was born February 9, 1959, in Milwaukee, to Otis and Rose (Doxtator) Howard. The beautiful Vanessa married Saul Saldana in May of 2001. Vanessa was a forgiving, caring woman and mother. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family. She loved soda with lots of ice, rummaging, and playing slots at the casino.

Survivors include her husband, Saul; her children, Tico Sr., Christopher, Israel (Michelle), Jesus, Olivia (Maximino), Jose (Deony), Rosie (Ricardo), her sweetest daughter, Alamar; 16 grandchildren; her "grand dogger", Lola; three brothers, five sisters, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Isaiah; a sister, Anna; and a grandson, Cruz.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
