Tracy Seiler, 84, Howard, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was born February 4, 1941, at the family home in Green Bay to Arthur F. and Della M. (Larsen) Seiler.
Tracy was a graduate of West High School, Class of 1959. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany at the same time as his brother, Jim from 1961 to 1963. While at a tavern Tracy met the love of his life, Janice M. "Jan" Speller. Not only did he meet his future wife that night but also her parents. They married on September 17, 1966 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oconto. Every Friday was spent out to eat with Jan, Jim, and Pat. Tracy worked a wide variety of jobs at four different railroads, as a delivery driver for Schroeder's Flowers, and as an attendant at Austin Straubel Airport. Tracy had a fantastic sense of humor and was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He proudly collected every edition of the Green Bay Packer Year Books. He enjoyed bowling, spending time with his friends from the railroads, completing crosswords, and collecting coins. Tracy was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle.
He was beyond dedicated to Jan and provided her with the best possible care. The night before his passing he mentioned how he missed his wife so much and he just wanted to be with her. He was always so thankful for the love and support from his brother, Jim and his sister, Pamela and daughter-in-law, Val. Ultimately, he passed of a broken heart, but we take comfort in knowing he is with mom. When he was reunited with Jan at Heaven's Gate, we are sure one of the first questions he asked was "how about them Brewers?"
He is survived by his children, Rick (Valerie) Seiler, Heidi (Russ) Rice; siblings, Jim (Pat) Seiler, Pamela Gantz, Steve Seiler, Mark Seiler, Janelle Olinger, Jill (Stuart) Popp; siblings-in-law, Joan Speller, Gary Lockstein; other relatives, and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by his wife, Janice "Jan"; parents, Arthur and Della; in-laws, Lawrence and Lucille Speller; brother-in-law, Pete Speller; sister-in-law, Diane Lockstein; nephews, David Olinger and Christopher Lockstein.
