Timothy "Tim" August Witter, 65, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born September 21, 1957, in Milwaukee to August and Hildegarde (Thomas) Witter.

Tim attended from Riverdale High School in Illinois. He went on to serve his country in the Army Reserves for 12 years. Even working with the Army Corps of Engineers to help build up Guantanamo Bay. Tim was a huge history buff, and also enjoyed photography, music, movies, and trivia.  He later worked as an IT computer programmer. Tim was a longtime member of the American Legion. He loved his family and treasured being a grandpa, especially his trips with family to Disney Land and Disney World.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Dena (John) Taraska, Dodi (Jay) Kotecki, Dawn (Jeremy) Burkard, Steven Witter, Susan (Johnathan) Blumreich, Sarah (Nick) Witter; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Terry (Denise) Witter, Tammy (Subhash) Nigam, Todd (Lisa) Witter; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, August and Hildegarde; son Donald "Donnie" Bonnell.
