Thomas "Tom" Treml, 70, dedicated, supportive, stubborn (at times), husband, proud father and grandfather passed away on November 28, 2023, peacefully at his home. Tom was born to the late Felix and LaVerne (Treml) on November 27, 1953, in De Pere, WI. He graduated from De Pere High School in '71.

Tom started his homebuilding career working for an area home builder. He worked his way up to framing foreman, and coordinated jobs in the area. In the fall of '81 he decided to go out on his own, and started Thomas J. Treml Homebuilding, L.L.C. Tom was passionate about custom homebuilding and meticulous with his craft. He was personable and professional throughout his career.

Tom married Patricia Pansier in '87. Together they worked hard to create their life. Not to mention they set the bar quite high for the Lambeau tailgating experience.

Tom thoroughly enjoyed tuning into sports, spending time up north at his cabin with loved ones, and the occasional trip to the local casino to test his luck. He found happiness in the simple things.

Tom will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Ashley (Ben) McCormick; son, Brad (Kari) Treml; Granddaughters, Grace and Lyla McCormick, Siblings: Ken (Barb) Treml, Mary (Ed) Kimmeth, Diane Treml, Mike (Judy) Treml, Dan (Sharon) Treml, and Dave Treml; In-laws, Don (Mary) Pansier, Mary (Richard) Longley, Judi (Jack) Olson. Tom is further survived by his many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and his tight knit hockey family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and LaVerne Treml; his in-laws, Louis and Terry Pansier, and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Treml.

Tom encountered many setbacks this past year and approached each one with such courage and strength. We are so grateful for the time we had with him and find peace in knowing that he found his. We will always remember his witty banter and sense of humor. We want to extend our most sincere gratitude to all the doctors and staff at Froedert, Dr. Bongiorno, and the staff with Unity Hospice.

And because of Dad our lights will always be turned off and our doors always locked. Our very own Superhero.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2; Funeral Service to follow at 4 p.m. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
