Thomas Christensen, 73, Green Bay, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 with the love of his life, Annette, by his side.  Married for 46 years, they recently renewed their vows.  They went through life together sharing all the joys and heartaches as only a couple that deeply in love could.  Family has always been very important to Tom. He could be counted on to join in celebrating milestones or helping if there was a need.

Together with Annette by his side, Tom enjoyed boating, fishing, riding his Harley or a 4 wheeler.  In the winter, you may have seen Tom on the ATV with the plow attached driving to friend's houses to plow them out.

Tom was a proud member of the U.S. military, serving in both the Marine Corps and the Army during 1969 – 1972.  He was a member of the American Legion Sullivan Wallen Post 11 and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 224.  He was asked to join the 40 et 8 which he proudly accepted.  By being a member of the American Legion Post 11, Tom was on the Color Guard who presents the Flags at each Green Bay Packer home game.  If you attended a home games, you may have seen Tom down on the field.  He was also honored to be on the Legion's Military Honor Guard, paying last respects for fellow veteran's funerals.

Until his health declined, Tom worked as a semi driver.  He loved to drive around, so this occupation was perfect for him.

Tom could always be counted on to have a joke or comment that would make everyone laugh…or groan…you know those wisecracks of his!  He wanted to see everyone smiling.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; siblings, Carl (Marge) Christensen, Lucille Noeske, Ron (Carolyn) Christensen; sister-in-law, Sue Christensen; brother-in-law, Randy Wypiszynski; in-laws, Vicki (Dick) Radosevich, Bob (Rosemary) DeBroux, Mary (John) Walker, Daryl Brys, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Christensen and Cecelia Rogers; step-father, Roy Rogers; parents-in-law, Gordon and Betty De Broux; siblings, Marian Beilfuss, Marlene Starry, Carol Dufresne, Al Christensen, Kelly Christensen, Elizabeth Wypiszynski, Michael Christensen, and Sue Brys.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 4; Service to follow at 2 p.m. with full military honors to conclude.  To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mitch Lind and Dr. Peter Fergus and the compassionate staff at Unity Hospice, especially to Gina, Kang, Brissa and Chaplain Scott.  Also their deepest gratitude to Bob and Rosie DeBroux, Mary Walker, Spud and Mary Jo Nash and Gwen Green.  We will be eternally grateful for all of your support and love!
