Tamela M. "Tami" Adams, 56, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 10, 1968, in Green Bay to the late Sandra "Sandy" (Rozmarynoski) Zak. She was lovingly raised by Sandra and Donald Zak.
Tami graduated from Southern Door High School, Class of 1986. She married her best friend Jonathan Adams on December 22, 2007. Tami was always happiest when spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids, and friends. She had an infectious smile that lit up any room she was in. Tami had a passion for photography and managed Harmann Studios of Sturgeon Bay for 10 years. She went on to work at Odd Fellow Nursing Home where she lovingly cared for the sick and elderly. Tami worked there for 16 years, becoming the Admissions Director until her early retirement. Tami was a longtime member of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows and was honored to sit on the Board of Directors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and crafting. She had a huge heart, selflessly making blankets for and sharing photos with those she loved. We are confident she went to Jesus and was brought home to Heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan Adams; her children, Christopher Clasen, Amanda Duquaine, Joshua Duquaine, Logan Fischer; grandchildren, Braden, Branden, Hayden, Silas, Madelyn, Sophia, Mason, Axel, Elliana, Emma; sisters, Teresa (Troy) Froseth, Toni (Jon) Soyring; brother, David (Tracy) Gohr; mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Lois Adams, sister-in-law, Danielle; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Tami was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Sandy Zak; grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Rozmarynoski; grandson, Finley; as well as many aunts and uncles.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10; a celebration of Tami's life will follow at 7 p.m. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tami's name.
