Susan "Sue" Marie Novotny, 76, Howard, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born May 24, 1948, in Algoma to Richard and Rose (Alexander) Neinas.

Sue graduated from Southern Door High School, Class of 1966. She met Joseph Novotny through a mutual friend. Sue and Joe were married on August 14, 1971, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. She worked at Accent Business Solutions until her retirement in 2018. Sue enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and gardening. She was a huge sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Packers. Sue loved her family and enjoyed any time she was able to spend with them.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joe; children, Andy (Emily) Novotny, Rachel Novotny (Steve); sister, Mary Ann (Dick) Melotte; brothers-in-law, Irv (Laurel) Novotny, Tom (Judy) Novotny, Steve (Rosie) Novotny; sister-in-law, Sue Novotny, Carol (Brian) Maes, Pat Novotny, Sharon Novotny; godson, Jason (Liz) Melotte; goddaughter, Laurie (Randy) Kent; aunt, Mary Feld; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rose; Joe's parents, Harvey "Squeaks" and Elaine Novotny; brother-in-law, Dave Novotny; uncle-in-law, Kenny Feld.
