Steven "Steve" M. Fonder, 63, Ashwaubenon, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born October 5, 1960, in Green Bay to Clifford and Jean (Ness) Fonder.

Steve grew up in the house at Pamperin Park. He graduated from Bay Port High School, Class of 1978. Throughout high school he was a two-sport athlete participating in wrestling and football. He continued to love sports all his life. Steve was the wrestling coach for Ashwaubenon Wrestling Club and attended Superbowl XXXI in New Orleans. He enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers.

On June 13, 1981, Steve married Linda Van Enkevort. He worked at Meg Tech for 42 years until his retirement in 2020. Steve and Linda loved to travel. Together they visited Gatlinburg, TN, the Smokey Mountains, Branson, MO, and Nashville, TN. Steve enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Lakewood, where he had been going since he was a child. He was an avid outdoorsman. Steve spent countless hours outdoors skiing, snowmobiling, water skiing, riding on the pontoon, and driving UTVs.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Brandon (Heather) Fonder, Ashley (Jimi) Baker; grandchildren, Tiffani, Ethan, Amara, Alex; siblings, Barbara (Carl Rider) Euell, Dave (Jan) Fonder, and Mike (Lisa) Fonder; sister-in-law, Peggy Fonder, Sue (Jim) Schwartz, Jane (Randy) Brice, Joan (Terry) Coonen, Nancy Bechle, Bonnie (Bill) Noel, Sharie Bechle, Pam (Andy) Anderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Jean; brother, Jim Fonder; niece; Dawn Slade; in-laws, Clayton and Marion Van Enkevort; brothers-in-law, Tom Bechle, Dave Bechle.
