Stephen Maurice Howard Sr., Green Bay, formerly of Knoxville, TN, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the age of 53. Stephen was the sixth and youngest child born to the union of James and Margaret Howard on January 21, 1970. Stephen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Stephen attended Holston High School. Stephen went on to attend and graduate from Pellissippi State Community College, with an Associate's Degree in Computer Technology.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Colleen Howard; two children, Stephen Maurice (Lacy) Howard Jr, and Travinia (Shanday) Howard; four grandchildren, Tarion Marques Howard-Batson, Qualin Kyrie Howard, Reuben Marcel Howard and Ja'Ryll Thomas Howard; mother-in-law, Darlene Ryan; sisters, Jacquelyn Carter, Adrienne (Sylvandous) Anderson and Kelly Howard; sisters-in-law, Angela Howard and Dawn (Jim) Bedient; brothers, James (Julia) Howard and Arthur Howard; uncles, Walter Howard, Jr. and Frank Harris Jr; aunts, Gwendolyn (James) Hines, Pauline Harris and Mary Ruth Brown; seven nieces, five nephews and a host of great and great-great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Stephen was preceded in death by parents, James (Margaret) Howard; brother, Anthony (Tony) Howard; niece, Christine Howard; grandparents, Walter (Sarah) Howard, Sr. and Frank (Stella) Harris; and father-in-law, Anthony J. Ryan.

Family will receive friends at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 26; Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. with Brother James Howard officiating.
