Stella M. Charlier, 94, Green Bay, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006. She was born Oct. 11, 1911, to Louis and Antoinette (Jadin) Pirlot. On July 9, 1929, she married Elmer Charlier. She and Elmer enjoyed square dancing. Stella was a devote prayer of the rosary and volunteered at St. Patrick's Parish and for St. Vincent de Paul.

Survivors included four sons and daughters-in-law, Leo and Eileen Charlier, Allouez; James E. and Linda Charlier, Pulaski; David and LaVerne Charlier, Green Bay; Thomas A. Charlier, Appleton and his special friend, Sherry Wightman, North Fond du Lac; 14 grandchildren, Jeannine Charlier, Green Bay; Bruce (Sherry) Charlier, White Lake; Karen (Peter) Bushmaker, Green Bay; Karla (Arthur) Albers, West De Pere; Matt (Suzanne) Charlier, Cary, Ill.; Kim (Mark) Wilke, Howard; Dawn (Glenn) Creason, Siler City, North Carolina; Dean (Denise) Charlier, East De Pere; John (Nina) Charlier, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla.; Julie (Rick) Lefebvre, Green Bay; Anthony, Patricia, Victoria and Kristina Charlier, East De Pere; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews; and her dear friends and neighbors, Darcy and Sheila Schaut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, on Dec. 5, 1969, her parents, two brothers, two sister and their spouses, Henry Pirlot, Fred and Julia Pirlot, Maggie and Ed DeGrand and Eva and Carl Bauman. She was also preceded in death by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Joseph Beaudhuin, Louise and Joseph Dupont, Henry and Marge Charlier, Joseph and Agnes Charlier, Jule and Stella Charlier, Mayme and Emil Massart, Emma Charlier, Rose and John Malcore, William and Ida Cleareman, Adele and Victor Braedel.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church with Msgr. Brian Coleman officiating.
