Sherry Sue Campbell, 79, Green Bay, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026. She was born January 5, 1947, in Burlington, WI to Robert C. and Audrey (Brigham) Jensen.

After graduating from Carroll College (University) in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts, Sherry began her teaching career. While teaching for the Ashwaubenon School District, Sherry earned her Master of Arts from Lesley University. Sherry taught in both middle school and high school and served as the Gifted and Talented coordinator, coached Odyssey of the Mind and supervised the Student Council. She loved learning and had a passion for teaching, which was evident by her many accolades, including Teacher of the Year. She retired after 35 years but continued as a substitute teacher for another four years.

On October 9, 1971, she married Val Campbell. In addition to their home in Green Bay, they had a cabin in the U.P. of Michigan. Time spent with family and friends was most important to Sherry and she was the #1 cheerleader for both of her daughters as well as her grandchildren. Sherry was active, volunteering for the Brown County Women's Club and ushering for the Ashwaubenon PAC. With friends, she enjoyed book clubs, knitting clubs, Mahjong group and enjoying the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Sherry had a love and talent for crafting. She was always working on something. Sewing doll clothes or a baptismal dress or quilting for her family or to donate to a good cause. Sherry was an advocate to many, using her voice and resources for those that couldn't use their own. Sherry and Val also hosted children from N. Ireland through the Children's Program of Northern Ireland, securing even more lifelong friendships. Sherry's goal was to have a positive impact on others. She achieved that goal
