Shelby Jean (Hudson) Brusky, 87, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was born April 26, 1938, in the Town of Morgan to John and Anna (Updenkelder) Hudson.

Shelby married Donald Brusky on June 21, 1958, in Krakow, WI. She was a employee of Northern Shoe, Packerland Packing, Nicolet Paper, and Alwin MFG and member of the United Steelworkers. Shelby was a hard worker her entire life even after her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed being in various bowling leagues, stopping at rummage sales, going on casino trips, and making blankets. Shelby was an avid Packer and Brewer Fan. She loved to listen to polka music as well as both country and western music. She looked forward to her car rides with Donnie, visiting the Cottage on Anderson Lake with Gary and Dee Cramer, and having a proper whiskey old fashioned at a supper club. Shelby was the life of the party and a wonderful mother. She loved her family more than anything in the world. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Donalee (Jim Phillips) Brusky; Todd (Becky) Brusky, Shelley (Jesse Bickel) Brusky; grandchildren, April Brusky, Cody Ray, Samantha (David) Fisher, Brett Brusky, Jadeyn Brusky, great-grandchildren, Kolin (Alyssa) Franda, Griffin Fisher, Grant Fisher, Graham Fisher, Hailey Frambs-Ray; daughter-in-law, Heather (Kratz) Brusky; special family friends, Stacey Becker; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Shelby was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, John and Anna; great-grandson, Jackson Fisher; siblings, Dorothy (Leo) Traux, George (Jean) Hudson, Helen (Irvin) Burdeau, Gary (Betty) Hudson, Gordon (Sue) Hudson, Ivan (Terri) Hudson, Oscar (Jeanette) Hudson, Delores (Joseph) Burdeau, Betty Lou Perz, Russell Hudson and Eugene (Carol) Hudson; parents-in-law, Clemens and Helen (Skonieczny) Brusky; siblings-in-law, Leland (Laura) Brusky and Genevieve (Joseph) Sinclair.

Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 Ninth St., from 9:30am to 11:30am on Tuesday, September 23; Mass to follow at 11:30am. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Please join the family celebrating the lives of Don and Shelby on Sunday, September 28 at the Duck Creek VFW, 754 Riverside Dr., from 12 to 6.  There will be a luncheon and live music with Chad Przyblyski and his Polka Rhythms.  Bring your dancing shoes!
