Sharon A. Francois, 82, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She was born November 1, 1942, in Green Bay to Herman and Vivian (Lindner) Motiff.

Growing up Sharon and her sister, Lonnie were the best of friends. A bond that only continued throughout life. Sharon graduated from West High School, Class of 1961. She went on to gain her associate's degree in accounting from NWTC. From 1961 to 2016 she worked for a local bank. Sharon held a variety of positions from teller to accountant to vault personnel. On October 7, 1983, at Grace Lutheran Church she married Larry Francois.

Sharon was a lifelong Lutheran who shared her faith with many generations as a Sunday school teacher. For over 50 years she went above and beyond for those students, creating the most entertaining and engaging curriculum possible. Sharon created projects and made art designs to help the kids to learn and grow in their faith. She never had children of her own but her church kids she treated as if they were her own and put all of her efforts into her Sunday school classes. Sharon was gentle, loving, silly, adventurous, and always had your back. She loved to travel extensively with Larry all across the United States.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; sister, Lonnie (Gary) Sargin; niece, Tami (Randy) Wessley; great-nephew, Shayne (special friend, Alex) Wessley; numerous cousins, many friends, and countless Sunday school students who she helped grow in faith.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Herman Motiff; mother, Vivian Dopkins; stepfather, Warren Dopkins.

Friends and family will gather at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S Madison St., from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 2; Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Sharon's family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the young staff at Bellin Hospital who took such wonderful care of her. Their compassion, professional level maturity, kindness, and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. Sharon was so thankful for those students who are truly saints. Family also wishes to thank Pastor Larry and Julie for all of their help and love.

To my most perfect and loving wife, we love you. We miss you. We would never change anything about you. Love forever, Larry.
