Sharon Ann Demro was called home by our Lord on March 17, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was born on August 21, 1941, in the town of Little River to John and Eleanor (Schaut) Smith.
Sharon attended Lena Grade School and Lena High School and that's where she met her future husband, Bob. They were married November 14, 1957, and she had four boys Randy, Richard, Rob, and Michael. Sharon and Bob celebrated 66 years of marriage together. Sharon loved to play bingo, cards, and slots. Most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. She loved babysitting the grandkids, especially her two granddaughters. Sharon and the family made many trips to Canada and up north camping. Sharon and Bob took trips to Branson, Las Vegas, and western states. Sharon loved animals, especially her little dog Paco who brought her so much love and happiness for 18 years. Sharon was a member of KC Women's Auxiliary at St. Benedicts. Sharon held several different jobs including being a bailiff for the Brown County court system. She loved her big garden and all the flowers she planted. All those that knew her knew she had a heart as big as all the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Randal & Tammy, Richard & Cindy, Robert & Sharie; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael; her parents, John and Elanor Smith; brother, Lavern; in-laws, Howard and Mary Demro.

"I have only slipped away into the next room; I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Pray, smile think of me. All is well."
