Scott J. Peeters, 62, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital very unexpectedly, but after a long battle with various health problems.  Born September, 18, 1961 in Green Bay to Betty (McHugh) and the late Derrald Peeters.  He went to West High School and NWTC.

Scott's love of music, especially drums, took him to many places with several country bands in Green Bay, Nashville, TN and Branson, MO.  While in Branson, he worked on the Show Boat "The Branson Belle" for 15 years.  In 2017 he came "home" to be closer to his family. Scott worked a few jobs but kept his hand in music.

Scott was an avid reader. He worked hard and played hard. He will be missed by family and friends alike for his great work ethic and his child-like qualities.

He is survived by his mother, Betty; brothers, Michael, Tom, Randy and his friend, Bud, and Jeff and his friend, Holly.  He is further survived by his niece, Mandi Matthews and her husband Dylan LeCloux, and their children, Isak, Levi, Kora; nieces, Kelly Martin, Natasha Peeters, Tanya Holden, Natalie Peeters and their families; aunt, Mary Carlson; cousins, Michelle, Jamie, Luke and Faith Shallow, Eric and Linda Carlson (Canada), Marsha Peeters and other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Derrald Peeters, grandparents, Irene and Philip Peeters; Grandmother, Mayme McHugh; niece, Ali Peeters; uncles, Nate Carlson and John McHugh.

Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 with a Parish Wake Service and 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
