Sandra "Sandy" Lee Timmers, 78, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born November 24, 1944, in Green Bay to Ernest and Mildred (VanCaster) Krause.
Sandy graduated from West High School, Class of 1963. She married Thomas Timmers on August 1, 1964, and together they had three lovely daughters. For 20 years Sandy worked at Schneider National. She spent 24 years working as a floral designer at Stein's Garden and Gifts. After 13 years working in the Howard Suamico School District, Sandy retired in 2019. She enjoyed time spent tending to her gardens and yard, making her own floral arrangements at home, and relaxing in her hot tub. Sandy was always willing to help others and family always came first. She loved the time she spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Carpenter, Tonya (Wally) Techmeier, Tina (Tom Jones) Timmers; grandchildren, Austin, Dalton (Julia Schmidt), Karyssa (Mitchell Nooyen), Lydia (Wyatt Heise), Harley; father of her children, Thomas (Maryann) Timmers; brother, Steve (Linda) Krause; sister-in-law, Joann Krause; Richard's children, Rick (Carol) Mattmiller, Pam (Andy) Racine, Gary (Beth) Antoniewicz; Richard's son-in-law, Dave Olejniczak; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her significant other, Richard Erdman Mattmiller; parents, Ernest and Mildred; stepfather, George Martin; siblings, Ernestine (Ken) Capelle, Sally (Jack) Powell, Betty (Richard) Breuninger, Patsy Krause, Richard Krause, Lawrence Krause; Richard's daughter, Meg Olejniczak.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27; Memorial Service to follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Keith Swanson officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
