Sally Mary Thomas, 95, Green Bay, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born May 8, 1930, in Reedsburg, WI to Carmen Bernice (Bosacki) Brown and Harold Brown.

Sally spent much of her childhood in Minocqua with her mother and grandmother. When her mother married Harry Tubbs, the family moved to Green Bay. After graduating from West High School, Sally attended St. Olaf College for one year where she majored in music. For years her children were told she had a beautiful voice though she never sang around the house.

Sally married Tedd Paul Thomas on August 16, 1952. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1994. Sally played the flute in the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra for some years in the 50's and 60's. During the following years she worked for several attorneys as a legal secretary. After retirement her favorite passion was gardening. A special shout out to "Lance's Crew" for tending her garden when it became difficult for her. Sally stayed in her home until a few weeks before her death. Multiple health issues finally took their toll.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Thomas; daughter, Laurie Thomas; grandchildren, Sarah Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Andrew (Michelle) Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Jacob (Andrea) Thomas, Patrick (Sarah) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Katelin Thomas, Abigail Thomas, Jennifer Thomas, Aidan Schmidt, Dylan Thomas, Carys Schmidt, Cassie Thomas, Adelaide Thomas, Everett Thomas, Jack Thomas, Cora Thomas, Ellie Mae (Eleanora) Thomas, Theodore Thomas; other relatives and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Tedd; son, Stephen Thomas, her parents, Carmen and Harry Tubbs; granddaughter, Melinda Thomas.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 9:30 AM to 11 AM on Thursday, July 17; Service to follow at 11 AM. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
