Rosemary M. Sylvester, 75, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 26, 1947 in Frankfort, Kansas to Michael and Barbara Aeils. Her father, Michael, died before she was born. She was raised by her mother, Barbara and stepfather Bill Drury.
Rose's faith was strong and her love for her family was stronger. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing volleyball and always loved to read and watch movies. She could always be found with a diet coke (with ice) next to her.
She is survived by her her sons, James (Cheryl) Weise, Joseph (Stacey) Weise, Justin (Jelena) Weise; step-sons, Adam Sylvester and Nathan Sylvester; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Kyle, Breanna, Brandi, Savanah, Alexandria, Samantha, Nia; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Asher, Wilder, Hensley, Camille and Cameron; siblings, Dorothy Cautrell, Violet Larsen, Roy (Julie) Drury, Joan (Chuck) Larsen, Marie (Cindy) Drury, Donna Gray,Joyce (Tim) Helfer; many nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; two sisters, Margaret Hard and Julie Drury; brother-in-law, Dave Cautrell.
Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday January 17th. Service will be at 6:30 p.m.
