Rose Marie (Kielar) Grzelak, 93, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 with family at her side. She was born on August 22, 1931 to the late Albert and Agnes (Belniak) Kielar in Pulaski, WI.

On December 27, 1952 Rose was united in marriage to Joseph Grzelak, Jr, and they celebrated 67 years together until his passing in July of 2020. She looked forward to a glorious reunion with the love of her life, along with her oldest son, Dennis, who also passed in 2020.

Rose was a prayer warrior, with her rosary, Bible, and prayer books never far from her side. She attended daily mass and was devoted to sharing her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ with anyone she could, especially her children and grandchildren. She was also known for her incredible baking and cooking skills, creating traditions that are still being carried on by her family.

Rose is survived by her children, Trish Grzelak (Arizona), Dave (Mary) Grzelak (Washington Island), Jim (Melissa) Grzelak (Arizona), Kathy Harrison (Pulaski), and Joseph (Jane) Grzelak, III (Green Bay). She is further survived by one sister, Therese Bania, one sister-in-law Shirley Kielar Melotte, seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, husband and son, Rose was preceded in death by her siblings Mary (Peters), Eleanor (Nagode), Stephanie (Przybylski), John, Pearl (Czachor), Joseph, Frank, and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21 at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 9th St, Green Bay, WI. Visitation from 9:00 until mass at 11:00. Burial will follow at Brookside cemetery on Brookside Road in Abrams, WI. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Eternal Word Television Network (www.EWTN.com) in memory of Rose.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Unity Hospice, Blue Jay Springs senior living, and mom's wonderful neighbors Adam and Ashley for the love, support and compassion they provided. In addition, we wish to thank everyone who took the time to visit with Rose to share time and memories with her, as well as everyone who offered their prayers in her final days.
