Ronald "Ron" E. Van Drisse, 89, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born April 21, 1936, in Green Bay to Harry and Sadie (Delmont) VanDrese.

Ronald enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and completed his basic training at the Lackland Air Force Base in 1954. During the Korean War he was stationed in Japan and was an active member of the American Legion and AMVETS. On June 18, 1960, he married Judith "Judy" Kositzky in Escanaba, MI. Ron was proud to be a millwright and carpenter and was a member of the Local 1056 out of Waupaca. He worked mainly as a traveling millwright until his retirement in 1999. Ron was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed a blackberry brandy while watching the game. He was a devout Catholic man and was dedicated to his faith and family. Ron loved his family and would always think of what was best for all of them. He found one of his greatest joys was being a papa and great papa. He loved to see his family smile and especially enjoyed Christmas when he got to see their joy while unwrapping the presents, he spent all day wrapping. He enjoyed camping and bowling. Ron loved woodworking and animals.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Rick and Lonita Van Drisse; Brad and Barb Van Drisse; Brian and Jackie Van Drisse; Brandon Van Drisse; Judy's son, Larry (Laura) Bartoszek; a daughter-in-law, Kerstin Van Drisse; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon (Alex) Sovey, Shirley (Gene) Patek, Cheryl (Larry) Pepin, JoAnn Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Lois VanDrese, Laurie VanDrese; brother-in-law, Neil Kositzky; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; son, Randy; siblings, Clayton, Kenneth; infant brother, Leroy VanDrese; parents, Harry and Sadie; his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Edwin and Annette Kositzky; great-grandson, John Phillips; brother-in-law, Bill Reynolds; nephew, Jeffrey VanDrese.

Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 2; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
