Ronald Louis "Ron" Roskoski, 90, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born January 18, 1934, in Green Bay to Peter and Genevieve (Radlet) Roskoski.

Ron began his faith journey in his baptism at St. Phillip Catholic Church and was confirmed at SS. Peter and Paul. He graduated from East High in the class of '52. During his time in high school, he worked for LeCaptain's Grocery. Ron proudly served in the US Army from 1954-56 during the Korean War. Upon his return, he started working at Northern Paper Mill until his retirement in 1995 after 42 ½ years. Ron had many friendships from the mill and enjoyed bowling with them and attending their Thursday morning breakfast with his fellow retirees.

Ron had a chance meeting with Barbara Laubenstein and that was the start of their love story. They were married on July 22, 1961. He loved taking his family on many wonderful camping trips and to Great America. In his later years, he enjoyed many trips including the Panama Canal and Mexico. He and Barb enjoyed many years of fishing, and his family was always excited for the delicious fish fries. Ron was also part of the Great Lakes Fishing Club and looked forward to their annual fishing day that would take disabled children out to enjoy a day of fishing.

Ron took great pride in his garden and spent countless summer days outside tending to it. It did not matter how hot the weather was. Ron and Barb canned, froze, and preserved their produce to last the whole year long. Their diligence showed in the abundance of vegetables and flowers that they spoiled their family, neighbors, and friends with.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; three children, Sherry Elmer, Joseph (Linda) Roskoski, David Roskoski; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Lamar Roskoski, Renee Roskoski, and Jesse Elmer; great-grandchild, Cura; two sisters, Judy Johnson, Mary Heyrman; brother, Robert (Maureen) Roskoski; sister-in-law, Kelly Roskoski; brothers-in-law, Donald (Nancy) Laubenstein, Ken (Sally) Laubenstein; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nancy (Alvin) Goulder, brothers, Jim, Tom, and Tony Roskoski; and brothers-in-law, Harry Johnson and Roger Heyrman.
