Ronald L. "Ron" White, cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on April 29, 1935, in Manistique, MI, Ron was the beloved son of the late Merwin and Bernadette (Gierke) White, now reunited with them in eternal peace.

Ron shared a deep bond with his wife and best friend Judith "Judy" Patzlaff, whom he married on Valentine's Day in 1992. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter.

Throughout his life, Ron found solace in the game of golf, spending 30 fulfilling years as the Greens Superintendent at Royal Scott Golf Course until his retirement in 2015. Alongside his passion for golf, Ron delighted in the thrill of deer hunting and walleye fishing. He also enjoyed sailing the Great Lakes and long car rides.

Ron leaves behind his devoted wife of 32 years, Judy; and his children, Ronny Jim (Kathleen) White, Kathy White, and Mark (Betty) White. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Nancy White and Karen Dahlke; brothers-in-law, David (Sylvia) Patzlaff, and Jerry Patzlaff and his friend, Mo Zeller. Ron's memory will be treasured by a special niece, Shannon, as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert White and Mike (Peggy) White, and his parents, as well as his stepfather, Floyd Houghton. He is further deceased by a niece, Charlene Dahlke, and a brother-in-law, James Patzlaff.

Ron's legacy of love and kindness will be commemorated during a memorial service honoring his life. Family and friends are invited to join together at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 3; Memorial Service will follow at noon.
