Ronald J. "Ron" Krines, 78, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Ron was born on March 25, 1944 in Green Bay, to Joseph E. and Amanda L. (Peters) Krines.

Ron graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. When he was honorably discharged, he came home to study accounting. He received his CPA certificate and was a CPA for Jonet Fountain, Vandeloo and Glaser for many years.

On May 4, 1968 he married Carla Christianson at West Side Moravian Church. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church where he was on the finance committee.

Ron always enjoyed spending time with family and fishing up North. In his retirement he remained a busy, strong, and determined man who was the kindest gentleman.

He is survived by his wife, Carla; his children, Kevin (Jennifer) Krines, Jason Krines; sisters, Carol Deprey, Sandra Pigeon; sisters-in-law, Julie Christianson, Darlene (Dale) Petty; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Amanda Krines; his parents-in-law, Lowell and Laverne Christianson; and a brother-in-law, Gene Deprey.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 3, 10:30 – 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Road.  The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Rufus Kudee officiating.
