Rodney G. Miller departed this life surrounded by the love of his family and the loyal companionship of his dogs, Doc and Moe, after a courageous battle with cancer on May 14, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1970.
Rod's life was a testament to love, dedication, and hard work. His 27 years with Theresa "Trish" Payne, whom he met in 1999 and later married on September 13, 2007. As the founder of 9th Street Auto in 1996, Rod later embarked on new ventures, becoming the proud owner/operator of Yellow/Checker/Ace and Green Bay Taxi services in 2017.
His legacy includes his daughter, Miranda (Legend) Haufe, and his blended family: Samantha (Beau) Andrew, Taylor Lucas, and six grandchildren. Rod is also survived by his loving siblings: Janet (Dan) Bernetzke, Mark (Vicki) Miller, Heidi (Jeff) Walschinski, and numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by his presence.
Though his earthly journey concluded, Rod's memory is forever cherished, he is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Elsie Miller, and longtime friend and business partner Doug Campbell.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Bellin Cancer Team, Heartland Hospice and Blaney Funeral Home for their continued help and assistance.
Entombment will be at The Shrine Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
