Robert "Rob" Martin Wilcott II, 53, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 9, 1972, to Robert Martin Wilcott and Barbara (Voight) Carlson.

After Rob graduated from Bay Port High School, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he pursued his Bachelor of Music Degree. While in attendance he was the 1992 recipient of the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Young Artist Competition Award. As a trombonist he performed in the UW-GB Wind Ensemble and various smaller ensembles as well as performances with the Green Bay Symphony and numerous other Green Bay area performing groups.

After graduating from UW-GB he worked for various companies in the Green Bay area and continued to participate in and enjoy musical performances. After many years, he left his corporate employments to become a full-time caregiver for his mother as her health problems required. While providing care, he was able to also pursue his fascination of genealogy and became a self-employed Independent Genealogy Researcher primarily in the former provinces of Pomerania, West Prussia and Posen, Germany.

Rob provided compassionate and loving care to his mother while also helping and providing care and support to his stepfather, Jeffrey Carlson, who was married to his mother for 34 years. Rob provided constant help and created countless memories with them after he became their live-in caregiver and assisted them with their daily cares and companionship.

Rob is survived by his brother, Joel Wilcott, Suamico; nephew, Landon Wilcott; and stepfather, Jeffrey Carlson, Green Bay. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and is now at peace with them, along with many other loved ones throughout his life.
