Robert "Bob" Alan Unterburger Sr., 66, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born January 27, 1959, in New Jersey to Rolf and Jean (Allen) Unterburger.

Bob married Lanette LaCourt on April 21, 1979, in New Jersey. Together they had two children they later became grandparents to four wonderful grandchildren. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who adored his family. They were his greatest passion, and he loved them dearly. The other love of his life and lifelong passion was music. If he wasn't playing the trumpet he was singing. If he wasn't singing, he was listening to some jazz music. The trumpet was his main instrument of choice, and he played in his high school marching band. Bob even had the honor of playing in the Macys Day Parade. He sang for as many choirs as he could and was a member of the choir at St. Paul's Church, Annunciation Church, and St. Jude Parish in addition to singing in the Baylander Barbershop Choir. Bob also enjoyed gardening and growing a wide variety of vegetables and flowers.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lanette; children, Rachel (Jason) Fonder, Robert II (Leah Anna Williamson) Unterburger; grandchildren, Alannah (Greg Rios) Fonder, Autumn (Jake Tyvol) Fonder, Robert Unterburger III, Amara Unterburger; brother, James (Pat) Unterburger; mother-in-law, Barbara Lyons; sister-in-law, Jeanne LaCourt; brother-in-law, Richard (Kerry Capion) Hawpetoss; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Rolf and Jean; brother-in-law, Michael LaCourt.
