Robert L. "Bob" Peterson, 43, Green Bay, died unexpectedly at his trailer on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006. He was born on Feb. 28, 1963 in Green Bay to Richard and Joanne (Johnson) Peterson. Bob was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1981. Following high school he served six years in the United States Navy as an Electrician's Mate in the nuclear power field. After receiving his honorable discharge from the Navy he came home to Green Bay and has worked for the past sixteen years for Procter & Gamble. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family, relaxing at their trailer, hunting, and fishing. Bob was a devoted father who loved his family and could not live without them. He was a gifted and mechanically inclined person who could fix almost anything. Bob will be sadly missed. The emptiness left behind will never be filled.

Bob is survived by his children, Katie and David, both of Green Bay; his parents, Richard "Dick" and Joanne Peterson, Green Bay; his brothers and sister-in-law, William "Bill" Peterson, Green Bay; Richard "Rick" and Juani Peterson, Rota, Spain; his nephew and niece, Richard "Ricky" Peterson and Maria Peterson, both of Rota, Spain; his former wife, Tina; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Froseth officiating.
