Robert "Bob" John Gerrits, 76, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was born October 25, 1947, in Green Bay and was lovingly adopted by Peter and Agnes (Vanden Avond) Gerrits.

Bob graduated from West De Pere High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1967 to 1969. Bob married Karen Vogt on June 27, 1970 at St. Mary's Church in Chilton. He worked in the warehouse at Bay Valley food for over 45 years until he retired in 2012. Bob enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Packer and Badger fan. He loved to travel and visit new places. His faith was important to him. Bob was an active longtime member of St. Jude Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Scott and Troy; grandchildren, Helena, Naudia, and Malora; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Agnes; sister, Mary Gerrits; aunts and uncles.

Friends and family will gather at St. Jude Parish, 1420 Division St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29; The Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bob's name.
