Rita E. (Novitski) Kielar, 87, longtime resident of Pulaski, joined her Savior in eternity on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

Rita was born at home in the town of Eaton, WI, on February 16, 1936, to the late Florian R. and Anastasia (Maslowski) Novitski. During her senior year of high school, her family moved to Pulaski. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life Joseph G. Kielar, and the two were united in marriage on May 12, 1956. Joe and Rita went on to raise a family of 10 children on a farm near Pulaski, where all of them enjoyed the simple things of life and cherished doing everything possible together. Rita was dedicated to her family, enjoyed nature- especially birds and flowers, and devoted herself to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Natalie) Kielar, Ronald (Layla) Kielar, Daniel (Julie) Kielar, Carol (Loren) Hubin, Debra Soboski, Bonnie (Jerry) Zepnick, Janie (Brett) Scantlin, Nancy (David) Maynard, Julie (Hal) Erickson, Joseph A. (April) Kielar; 27 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two more great grands on the way. She is also survived by four sisters, one brother, four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph; parents and parents-in-law, Albert and Agnes (Belniak) Kielar; as well as five brothers, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, and five sisters-in-law.

Rita's life verse was Psalm 46:10 - "Be still and know that I am God." After repenting of her sins and placing her faith in Christ's finished work alone, she applied this verse in her walk of faith in obedience to God's Word for the rest of her life. Rita's prayer would be for everyone to do the same in their lives, as John 14:6 says, "The Lord Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to God except through Him."

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25; Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will take place in Pulaski. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

The family wishes to thank Rita's doctors, Scott Stillwell and Loren Fugelstad, for their professional care given and kind concern shown. The family greatly appreciates all who visited, called, texted, wrote to, and prayed for Rita, especially in these last few months.
