Richard "Dick" Smith, 87, Winston, Oregon (formally of Green Bay) passed away on January 21, 2026 at his home in Oregon surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Gladstone, Michigan on September 30, 1938 to Kenton and Rossie Smith.

Dick's hobbies included fishing, football, and old westerns. He was passionate about uplifting and uniting his family.

He is survived by his son, David Smith; granddaughter, Samantha (Zack) Rose; grandson, Jacob Smith; great-grandson, Logan Rose; sisters-in-law, Rosie Anderson, Kathleen Matis, Linda (John) VanDerKinter; brothers-in-law, Ron (Delores) Anderson, Roy (Becky) Anderson, Glenn (Judy) Anderson, Leon (Connie) Anderson, Dale (Barb) Anderson, and Don (Karen) Anderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dick was proceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy; son, Darren; parents, Kenton and Rossie Smith; in-laws, Maynard and Florence Anderson; both brothers, Gary Smith and Kenny (Laurie) Smith; sister-in-law, Christine (Robert) Larsen; brothers-in-law, John Anderson, and Warren Anderson.
