Richard J. Leu, 89 (only 28 days away from 90), passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Dimensions Living. Richard was born on November 23, 1936 in Fond du Lac, WI to Frank and Florence Leu.

Richard was a devout Catholic and his family meant everything to him. He was interested in and worked with the Boy Scouts. Richard was an avid hunter. He was also a handyman and had a special talent for woodworking. Richard worked throughout the state of Wisconsin as a project manager.

He is fondly remembered for his LOVE of peanut butter cookies.

He is survived and dearly missed by the love of his life for over 64 years, Nancy; his children Mary (Don), Joe (Diana), and Tom (Traci); grandchildren, Ryan Gruszynski, Cailee (Jake) Kohlbeck, Michael Gorlovitski (Justice), Cloe Gorlovitski, Alexandra Avery (Nick), Maya Leu, Emma Leu, Emma Elliott, Paige Elliott, Gary Smurawa (Holly); great-grandchild, Arthur Kohlbek; extended family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his son, James; his daughter, Jo Ann; parents, Frank and Florence; siblings, Audrey, Don, Marvin; and his twin sister, Ruth Ann.
