Richard "Dick" Joseph Arcand, 88, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born June 5, 1934, in Green Bay to Edward Joseph and Arlene (Reitmeier) Arcand.

Richard attended Annunciation grade school. He worked at Northern Paper Mill for over 40 years. Richard loved camping, square dancing with the Whirlaways, cooking and baking. He made special caramels and popcorn balls. Richard traveled extensively visiting, Europe, Australia, Alaska, and Hawaii. He enjoyed spending time with his special group of friends called the "Gang." He was a lifelong faithful Catholic and was involved in church events whenever he could be.

He is survived by his daughter, Maureen Pivonka; grandchildren, Stephanie Pivonka, Michelle (Jason) Rieckmann; great-grandchild, Sophie Rieckmann; special friend, Marlene Rucinski.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents, Edward and Arlene; sisters, Joanne (Clifford) Verheyen, Mary Ann (Thomas) Kobriger; son-in-law, Jim Pivonka.

Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Patrick C.
