Richard William Hruska, 73, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was born November 27, 1950, to Edward J. and Juanita (Leubner) Hruska.

Richard graduated from Southwest High School, Class of 1971. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for three years. He married Joyce Marie Pavlik on June 25, 1977 at St. Mary of the Angels Church. They celebrated 46 years together. Richard worked as a machinist and retired from Paper Converting. He was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Richard was an active member of his church and served on the finance council, the athletic club and was head usher. His time in church and with his church family meant a lot to him. Richard had a big heart and was a lover of all animals. Richard was Mr. Fix-it and would help explain step by step over the phone how to fix something. If needed he would not hesitate to show you how to fix it in person. Richard loved his family and cherished spending time with them. His family meant the world to him.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Tracy Hruska; daughter, Dawn Hruska; grandchildren, Kayla (Gary) Johnson, Briawna (fiancé, Kyle Trudell) Hruska, Harley Berkovitz, Cody Berkovitz; great-grandchildren, Richard, Jace, Annabel, Xavier, Eduardo, Bentley; siblings, Robert (Jean) Hruska, Libertyville, IL, Ronald Hruska, Wausau, WI, Roberta (Mark) Mellberg, Green Bay, WI, Renata Hruska, Green Bay, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Juanita Hruska; in-laws, Benedict and Verna Pavlik; nephew, Michael Hruska; brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Friends and family will gather at St. Joseph Parish, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20; Mass of Resurrection to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.
