Richard Dale "Rich" Hatelak, 56, Oconto Falls, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. The son of Louis Hatelak and the late Cathy (Massey) Powell was born on July 15, 1968, in Hopkins County, Kentucky

Rich was a graduate from the Arch in Belvidere, IL., Class of '86. Following graduation, Rich enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served during Operation Desert Storm. Upon returning he began working as a truck driver.

Rich enjoyed spending time with his daughter, cooking, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and fixing things. He was a country boy at heart. Rich was the go-to guy when something was broken. And whenever the weather was nice, you'd see him on the bike.

He is survived by his daughter, Cierra Hatelak; father, Louis Hatelak; brothers, Steven Hatelak, and Kyle Hatelak.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cathey Powell.
